Event Description
Get a rare glimpse behind the scenes with this opera workshop performance featuring renowned composer Lori Laitman. College of Music singers perform excerpts from Laitman's opera "Ludlow," based on the verse novel by Colorado poet laureate David Mason about the deadly Colorado coal mining strike. Afterwards, there will live commentary from the composer and author and plenty of time for audience questions and suggestions. You're guaranteed to leave knowing you had a hand in the creative process!
