End Date: 10/24/2013End Time: 4:30 PM
Event Description:

Architectural Engineering alumnus Dave Lewis will be in Boulder October 24 to accept his 2013 George Norlin Award from the CU Alumni Association.  In conjunction with his visit, Dave will give a special guest lecture to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends about his heritage as a member of a CU family, lessons on teamwork as a key to engineering success, and the most important reason – in his view – to be an engineer.

As president of S.A. Miro, Dave Lewis has helped build the company into an architectural and civil engineering firm with a stellar reputation for excellence. His clients include Denver International Airport, Children’s Hospital Colorado, the U.S. Air Force Academy and Ocean Journey Aquarium. On campus he played a role in the Wolf Law Building, Center for Community and Sibel Wolle Visual Arts Center, among others. Dave is also a tireless supportor of the CU’s College of Engineering and Applied Science, where he has contributed to strategic planning, curriculum development, project support, recruitment, and fundraising efforts.

Please join us in the Benson Earth Sciences Auditorium (BESC 180) to hear Dave's talk!
