To design a regular or online course that makes sense to the teacher and the students requires setting setting goals and objectives. Learning activities that help students learn what the teacher intends them to learn are essentiall as well.

    All workshops count toward GTP Certificates. All graduate students, undergraduate teaching or learning assistants, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend GTP activities.
    Of note:
    Graduate students who are or may soon be instructors of record may benefit from the Summer Series in Course Design, however, any graduate student is welcome to attend. Workshops are designed to help participants develop a syllabus for a course at CU Boulder or a draft syllabus that could be included as a sample in the appendix of your teaching portfolio.
