Event Description
Music from my heart: A collection of favorites
Please join Christina Jennings and friends for an evening of beautiful and powerful music. Repertoire will include: the JS Bach Trio Sonata in G Major, a beloved French Impressionist standard, the Gaubert Fantasie, a rhapsodic soliloquy written by Jake Heggie, composer of the opera Dead Man Walking, and Ms. Jennings’ transcription of the George Rochberg Caprice Variations based on a popular theme of Paganini. Collaborators include CU’s Margaret McDonald and CSO principal flutist Brook Ferguson.
