Privilege, Oppression, and Possibility: An Inclusive Community Playback Performance

Event Description

Produced by Motus Theater for One Action-One Boulder in conjunction with Playback Theatre West, this performance works to build community one story at a time.  Audience members reflect on experiences of privilege and oppression in our community and a diverse troupe of improvisational actors will reenact their experiences. This session encompass action, movement, and practice in that audience members will see stories placed into action, with the intent to create movement towards addressing privilege and oppression in our community. The performance approach provides a safe space for telling stories and practicing dialogue. Presenter: Kristen Wilson.
