Event Description Sustainable Practices program at CU-Boulder offers a non-credit Certificate in Sustainability Management. Biomimicry is a scientific design discipline that seeks sustainable solutions by emulating Nature’s time tested patterns and strategies. This course will provide an interdisciplinary introduction to the design principles and techniques of biomimicry, as well as an understanding of the benefits of bio-inspired design. Students will study industry and governmental case studies to learn how organizations can achieve greater sustainability by mimicking natural design. |
