This past summer 2013, the Program in Jewish Studies took seven CU students on the inaugural Global Seminar to Israel: Justice, Human Rights, and Democracy in Israel. This rigorous 6-credit course takes place over the course of a month in Israel and the West Bank. Students will be introduced to people, ideas, places and organizations that articulate diverse, multiple and sometimes competing ideas regarding the Palestinian and Israeli conflict. The seminar includes an internship component, where students will participate in team-based service learning internship projects with non-profit organizations in Israel working in the areas of human rights, social justice and democracy.

This program is open to students of all backgrounds.

Come meet our study abroad alumni and learn more about the incredible study abroad programming being offered by the Program in Jewish Studies!
