Rachel Hawthorn, Lead 2012–13, Fine Arts

(This workshop is part of the Fall Intensive 2013)

As a graduate student, you must step into many roles, from teaching to being a researcher, to being a member of the learning community. It can be a challenge feel secure in your own position, especially when pressures from others add to your stress. This workshop will address the use of an empathetic approach toward yourself, your peers, and your students in order to reduce some of that stress, and help you to feel more secure and confident in your many roles.
