Event Description Please join Vice Chancellor for Administration finalist Kambiz Khalili for this open forum interview.
Kambiz Khalili has 26 years of experience serving in higher education in the state of Colorado, culminating in his current position as Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Executive Director of Housing & Dining Services. Recent projects completed in this role include the Center for Community Dining Center and the Williams Village North residence hall, both of which have received LEED Platinum ratings. He has also been responsible for overseeing the University Memorial Center and the Environmental Center concurrent to his leadership role in Housing and Dining Services. In the past, he has worked extensively in the Housing and Dining Services department at the University of Colorado Boulder in administrative positions. Prior to his tenure on the CU-Boulder campus, he worked at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley for 15 years, concluding with his position as Director of University Housing & Dining Services.
Khalili earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado as well as a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. In addition to his extensive experience in Housing and Dining Services, he has presented at both regional and national SCUP conferences, as well as NACUFS, ACUHO-I, and NACAS national conferences, and has received the Northern Colorado Dietetic Association’s Award of Excellence for the promotion of good health and nutrition. |
