Building Classroom Technologies into Your Course Design

Mark Werner, Associate Director of Academic Technology Research, ITS

In the classroom, technology can often be used to meet educational goals and learning styles that you might otherwise find difficult to reach. Dr. Werner presents a variety of classroom technologies and shows how they map onto the Kolb Learning Styles Inventory.

    All workshops count toward GTP Certificates. All graduate students, undergraduate teaching or learning assistants, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend GTP activities.
    Of note:
    Graduate students who are or may soon be instructors of record may benefit from the Summer Series in Course Design, however, any graduate student is welcome to attend. Workshops are designed to help participants develop a syllabus for a course at CU Boulder or a draft syllabus that could be included as a sample in the appendix of your teaching portfolio.
