Event Description
We will be showing a few movies and hosting speakers and panels surrounding issues of Environmental Justice in order to spread awareness about the social injustice as a consequence of environmental degradation.
We will be showing the movie, Crude, and a short discussion to follow up, an event with a video clip called Sowing Seeds for Change, and a visiting panel from a local organization called Friendship City Project. Finally we will screen the movie, Forks Over Knives, followed by a panel with local advocates for the importance of eating locally, organically, and taking care of one's well-being.
