Event Description:
Ben Lehner from the Centre for Genomic Regulations in Barcelona, Spain will speak in the BioFrontiers Seminar Series. His visit is co-sponsored by the Colorado European Union Center of Excellence (CEUCE) and is an important part of our annual seminar series designed to promote interdisciplinary research at CU-Boulder. CEUCE and BioFrontiers have joined efforts in order to further promote transatlantic (EU-US) research partnerships. The title of his talk is “The Genetics of Individuals: Why would a mutation kill me, but not you?”

After the seminar cookies and coffee will be served hosted by the BioFrontiers Student Group to provide time for people to interact and talk research.  Whiteboards will be available in the atrium during this time so you can talk, illustrate and share science.

    Free Admission.

    Anyone with a valid Eco pass can ride the Stampede bus that runs between campuses.

    If you bike in there are covered and uncovered bike carrels. Bikes are not allowed in the building so be sure to bring your lock.

    If you prefer to drive there is metered parking located on the northwest and southeast sides of JSCBB that takes credit cards or cash.
