Event Description
“Miss Representation” is a film about how the media portrays women, especially women in power. Media is a pervasive force in society that reinforces harmful ideas about women, ideas that their value lies only in their beauty and youth and that they have no capacity as leaders.

These messages play out in real life, making it difficult for women to advance in leadership roles. The next screening is Feb. 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in ATLAS 100.
