Event Description Narrated by Robert Redford, Watershed tells the story of the threats to the once-mighty Colorado River and offers solutions for the future of the American West. As the most dammed, dibbed, and diverted river in the world struggles to support thirty million people and the peacekeeping agreement known as the Colorado River Pact reaches its limits, this film introduces hope for the future.
Come join the film’s Producer James Redford and award-winning filmmaker, and Watershed’s director, Mark Decena as they chat about the film. Following a screening of the film, Patty Limerick, Director and Chair of the Board of the Center of the American West, Justice Gregory Hobbs of the Colorado Supreme Court, Jim Lochhead, CEO and Manager of Denver Water, and Karin Sheldon of Western Resource Advocates, joined by the filmmakers, will talk about the film and the Colorado River. |
