Event Description Global climate is changing but nowhere are changes as pronounced as in the polar regions, where delicate ecosystems are threatened. Join professional outdoor photographer, Glen Delman for his amazing photos of arctic and subarctic animals. His unforgettable shots include molting Emperor penguins and Polar bears getting ready for the hunt as sea ice forms. Ursula Quillmann, a Ph.D. candidate at CU Boulder and oceanography instructor at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, will provide background information on the changing environments of our polar regions. This free event will be held in the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History Paleontology Hall. |
