Event Description
Please join us at the Fiske Planetarium at CU Boulder this Saturday, December 1, at 730 PM (doors at 7 PM). The concert is entitled "A Farewell to Fritz" and is a farewell to the old planetarium star projection system.
The group mindSpiral has performed at the planetarium for many years, and for this farewell to our beloved Fritz we feature a 5-member group with several well-known space musicians. Giles Reaves, Darwin Grosse, Paul Vnuk Jr., Allen Goodman, and Mike Metlay will perform on modular synth, hardware and software synths, string instruments, and percussion, accompanying a no-holds-barred sky show with star projector, lasers, and a host of old-school optical effects that will never be seen again after this performance.
The show is FREE to the public (donations optional but appreciated, and CDs will be sold), and we hope to see you all there!
