End Date: 11/15/2012End Time: 12:15 PM
Event Description

The environmental community constantly discusses how consumerism impacts the environment; however, the social impacts are rarely brought up.  At this interactive session, participants have the opportunity to learn how their lifestyle and product choices impact people. Participants will consider the social ramifications of their choices. They will also be able to self-assess how sustainable their choices are and then will engage in activities including brainstorming, following the life cycle of popular products, followed by a discussion on viable solutions to create positive social and environmental change. Presenters: Terrance Campbell, Jennifer Coimbra and ‘Funmi Oyatogun - CU Environmental Center
