Event Description
At CU-Boulder we have certain affinities, ideas, things that make us both alike and different. Our event will focus on those stories through a unique partnership between the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Minority Affairs (CACMA) and Dr. Andrea Feldman's course 'Multicultural Rhetoric' of the Program for Writing in Rhetoric. We will hear written vignettes on identity, roles, and relationships at our diverse campus, thriving with individual stories, and will invite others to climb on board at our open mic forum. By writing, and then speaking about identity, students both learn about themselves and where they stand in the greater community around them while giving power to their individual stories.
