CU-Boulder Events Calendar

Throughout the world, dance is a doorway to the self, the soul, and society. In this workshop, the universal language of rhythmic dance will be introduced as a simple and practical way to building connections within and across borders of all kinds. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in somatic, body-centered activities that will leave them feeling uniquely empowered within and aware of how non-verbal communication can be a resource for building bridges with diverse peoples. No dance experience is necessary. Come prepared to get moving, to have fun, and to creatively engage in community.  Presenter: Melissa Michaels
