Event Description Explore the star knowledge and culture of the Wardaman people, an Aboriginal tribe of northern Australia, through the traditions, songs, and stories of Mr. Bill Yidumduma Harney. Let the magic of Fiske Planetarium transport you to distant lands to study the southern skies not visible from here in Colorado. This show is the first part of a series on ethnic astronomy by Dr. John Stocke. This series showcases Fritz, our Zeiss Mark VI star projector that will be replaced in 2013 after 37 years of service. |
