Event Description U.S. Department of Justice Case Against Dr. J.R. Roth: Impact & Implications
Interactive and practical application outreach session that will address key aspects of the case and answers questions such as: Was justice served? Did the negative consequences and prison sentences fit the crimes? Who else is making unauthorized transfers of export controlled technology? What was and is the impact on academia and the global trade compliance community? What lessons learned and lasting messages does the outcome send? Who is providing outreach, education and training in this arena? Is everything always fundamental research?
