CU at the Louisville Library: Shadow Puppets for Clean Energy Education in the Navajo Nation

Event Description
Beth Osnes, assistant professor of theatre and dance, will lead kids in enacting songs about the many forms of energy that we all use as a way of getting to know each. The program will involve kids in the work Osnes has been doing to use theatre and, more specifically, solar powered shadow puppet play to teach students in the Navajo Nation about clean energy solutions. Songs by Grammy-winning, Tom Wasinger, will lead participants in this adventure. Appropriate for all ages.
