The Road to Fondwa - presented by Student Groups for Haiti
Start Date: 2/1/2010Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Date: 2/1/2010
Event Description:
This event is a collaboration of student groups at the University of Colorado who want to make a difference in the lives of Haitian earthquake victims. The event will begin with an introduction by Dr. Reiland Rabaka, an influential professor in the field of ethnic studies. Following the professor’s introduction will be the screening of the critically acclaimed documentary film, “The Road to Fondwa.” The film, directed by Dan Schnorr and Justin Brandon, portrays the deep hope of the Haitian people to better their country. It is our wish that this event will inspire people to realize Haiti’s true potential and continue to support them through this tragedy and beyond.
