| Holocaust Awareness Week: Reading of the Names and Survivor Testimony |

Event Description Join CU's Hillel and the Program in Jewish Studies for the reading of the names of those who perished in the Holocaust from the Litany of Martyrs by CU students. The reading will begin at 9AM in the UMC.
This will be followed by a special presentation by Walter Plywaski starting at 9:30AM in the UMC, Room 235. Mr. Plywaski was a young man living in the Lodz ghettos of Poland. After hiding for 6 weeks, his family was one of the last to be transported to Auschwitz. He survived Auschwitz, work camps and death marches and went on to work with the US Army at the end of WWII.
