Event Description From climate chaos to college debt, the generations in power today are bequeathing to our youth an impoverished (even hazardous) future. The scale and complexity of human impacts on ecologies and economies have far outstripped our instinctive capacities to accomplish what previous generations valued above all: to pass forward a viable future to the generations that follow. What went wrong? And how might an evidential understanding of big history, human nature, and death guide us forward?

The closest official lot is the Euclid Parking Garage near Broadway and Euclid just east of the UMC (University Memorial Center). The Hop Bus drops you off at the UMC building and the Chem building is due north of the UMC building.
